Internships
If you love nature and you are interested in spending some time in our herbal garden and Aurama’s activities, we offer internships of 10-15 days for one person or a couple at a time. This opportunity is ideal for people who want to learn more about plants and gardening, permaculture farming, the Cretan landscape and herb growing and management, but you are required to have some previous experience or relevant education, be physically fit and be able to learn fast. You will receive instructions and guidance, but you also need to be able to work at your own initiative.
Working time is 5 hours a day and schedule can be flexible. Accommodation is covered in a cozy caravan for 2 people, which offers some privacy at the lower terrace. There are cooking facilities that you can use whenever you want. We provide one main meal a day, which we often share together, plus some extra ingredients for your own cooking, including goodies from the garden, a variety of herbal teas, fresh eggs, fresh vegetables and organic, virgin olive oil!
